Editing objects

To open an object from a catalog in table view for editing:

  1. Double-click the selected row with an object in the opened catalog

    OR

    right-click the icon of the object to call the menu and select 'Edit'

    The object opens in the Editor.

  2. Make your edits and click 'OK' to exit.

Note: If more than one object is selected, only the first one gets opened in the editor.

When editing an existing object or creating a new one, a view (editor) opens in the Workspace InfoObject. Refer to the Views (Editors) chapter for more information. This is common to both the editing and the creating of objects.
