Tooltips

In USU Service Management, tooltips are common GUI elements helping a new user to find his way around the application. They are used in conjunction with a mouse cursor.

To get a tooltip displayed:

  1. Hover the cursor over an item (without clicking it).

    If available, a tooltip appears.

  2. Move the cursor away to hide the tooltip.

Note: If the showAlternativeOnLabelTooltip mainparameter is set to true, technical labels will be displayed as the on-hover tooltip. This feature is intended for customizers only.
