Hiding reference catalogs

Individual reference catalogs can be hidden or displayed as required. It is also possible to hide all referenced catalogs in the editor.

Hiding the reference catalogs in the Classic view

  1. Right-click any of the reference catalog tabs to call a context menu for reference catalogs administration.

    The menu lists all reference catalogs available for the editor.

  2. Check or uncheck the individual catalogs in the list to display or hide them.

    The changes take effect immediately while the context menu remains displayed.

  3. Click anywhere outside the context menu to close it.

OR

  • Go to hamburger-icon menu > Reference catalogs.

    Here you can enable and disable the Reference catalogs.

To display the reference catalogs again, right-click anywhere in the editor to open its context menu. Select 'Reference catalogs' and uncheck 'Hide all reference catalogs' in the resulting submenu.

Hiding the reference catalogs in the Section view

  • Go to hamburger-icon menu > Configure sections.

    Here you can enable and disable the individual sections.

Note: The 'VMWeb/actionHideAllReferenceCatalogsEnabled' main parameter allows you to enable or disable the 'Hide all reference catalogs' action in the editor. This is a global main parameter valid for all users.
