My profile

Expand the Profile/Settings area and click the My Profile item to call a dialog with personal data of the currently logged user.

Note that the data is linked with Person object data of the mapped USU Service Management user. See also Person Mapping. Although most data is display only, some user-specific ad-hoc settings can be made in each of the dialog sections.

  • Master

    Personal information registered for the user. Mostly display only accept the Nickname and Speciality area fields.

  • Contact

    Contact information registered for the user. Contact data marked Private, user Language and Pager can be edited.

  • Correspondence

    Use the 'Email reception' radio buttons to select custom filtering of your incoming emails. Note that the filtering is based on email templates, not email addresses. Consequently, the filtering influences only emails based on email templates, e.g. emails the user will/will not receive from the USU Service Management ticketing system.

    • All emails

      No email filtering

    • Only mandatory emails (no user decision possible)

      Only emails not subject to user decision will be delivered. These are emails based on email templates which have the User decision allowed attribute set to False.

    • Exclude-list (to be defined in section 'Email exclude-list')

      Selecting this option displays an additional E-mail exclude-list section for selection of 'blacklisted' email templates. Emails based on these email templates will not be delivered to the user. This way it is possible to filter out for example some info-only emails (based on corresponding templates).

  • Organization

    Organizational assignments of the user. Only Current location can be edited.

  • Substituting Persons

    Can be used to assign one or more substituting persons for specified period(s) of time. The substitution is used e.g. in emails and in 'My Tasks' catalog.
